Clockwork Copilot privacy

Effective July 22, 2026.

This policy describes Clockwork's validator for the Clockwork Copilot GPT. It applies to Clockwork's validator only, not to OpenAI or any other service you use with the GPT.

What the validator does

Clockwork Copilot is a validator for Clockwork worker packs. The worker files you submit are sent to Clockwork's validator. The validator reads the pack text to return validation results; it does not execute submitted code or access your local Clockwork installation.

Authentication and access

Requests to the validator use API-key authentication. Anyone with the Clockwork Copilot link may use it. Treat that link as access to the validator: do not forward the link to people you do not intend to use it.

How submitted content is handled

Submitted pack text is processed ephemerally to return validation results and is not intentionally retained by Clockwork's validator. We may keep global operational metadata, such as request time, response status, and request size, to operate and protect the service. That metadata does not include submitted file bodies.

Please do not submit sensitive information

Do not submit secrets or client-sensitive data. This includes API keys, passwords, private tokens, customer data, and confidential source material. Remove sensitive values before submitting a worker pack for validation.
